Mary Long has been communicating with animals professionally since 1995, although her training began many years prior to that at the insistence of her horse. Mary, who has a Masters Degree in Engineering, worked for the DuPont company for 13 years. She has owned and operated a boarding facility for horses, and is now breeding and training Oldenburg sporthorses. Her development as a communicator continues on a daily basis with her horses, dogs, and cats acting as her teachers and mentors.
